Fight Animal Cruelty

Furry friends should never be beaten, abused, or injured by pet owners, but yet there are daily reports of puppy mills, dog fights, and over-filled shelters that cannot care for all the wounded animals.  Whether you're a dog, cat, or squirrel lover, help protect domestic and wild animals through one or more of the following ways:
  • Don't buy from mills: Mills are cruel and inhumane ways of performing large-scale breeding, and often the owners care more about money instead of adequate and sanitary living conditions for the animals.
  • Don't allow domestic OR animal violence: Did you know that in 88% of families where there was domestic abuse, there were also records of animal abuse?  Abuse of any kind is unacceptable.
  • Don't participate in dog fights: Pit Bulls are pets, not prize fighters.  Don't be like Michael Vick -- a pooch is man's best friend, not a participant in a fighting ring.

The ASPCA mission is to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.
