Oxfam International is an organization that works with people living in poverty to combat injustice, provide assistance in natural disasters, raise awareness around the world, and research and advocate for new and helpful policies and practices.

Since 2004, Kristin Davis has supported Oxfam's emergency and humanitarian work.  She has visited many places with the organization, including Mozambique, South Africa, Uganda, and Haiti.  Of her May 2011 trip to Haiti, which was featured in the July 25, 2011 issue of Us Weekly, Kristin noted: "The focus is helping people get self-sustaining livelihoods."  On these trips, she has met with victims of domestic violence, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, and women who have been able to save their families through Oxfam's support of small business.  To learn more about Kristin Davis' humanitarian work with Oxfam, visit her Oxfam Ambassador page.
