Earth Day is April 22

Earth Day is almost here: April 22, 2011.  While we encourage you to be good to Mother Earth every day, Earth Day is a wonderful way to experience some new ways to go green:
  • Billion Acts of Green: Pledge an "Act of Green" to show your commitment to the Earth and share your ideas with others.  Anything counts -- pledge to clean up a street in your neighborhood or take shorter showers.
  • Build the Green Economy: Sign a petition and tell Congress that you want more green jobs.  Let's hope for less unemployment and more climate solutions!
  • The Canopy Project: Help plant millions of trees where they are most needed.  Learn about the effects of planting trees in Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, France, and many other countries.
For more tips on what you can do to protect the environment at home, visit the Environmental Protection Agency's website for suggestions.
