A Reason To Survive

Photo Credit: A Reason To Survive

ARTS, A Reason To Survive, was founded in 2001 to transform the lives of children using visual, performing, and literary arts.  The organization believes that art contains therapeutic powers, and uses "all art forms as a vehicle to create positive, long lasting change in children and youth facing major life challenges – giving them not only a reason to survive – but to also thrive."  Children of all ages and skill levels can engage in the program, which is designed to help "at-risk" youth.

There are a number of ways to get involved in A Reason To Survive -- you can be an Artist Mentor, volunteer your time at the office, or donate your money, car, or art supplies.  Send in some crayons or paint to celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2011!
