Better Men Better World

GQ is hosting their third annual Better Men Better World search to locate the "man who strives every day for the betterment of society through charitable work, volunteerism, and community involvement."  Submissions were sent to GQ, and they picked their top five nominees.  The winner will be determined by popular vote (that means you!), and votes are due by September 30.  All finalists will receive a generous donation to their charity of choice and a trip to New York City to attend the annual Gentlemen's Fund Ball, an event we'd like to sneak into!  Read about and vote for your favorite nominee today.

Last year's winner, John Piano (who looks just like John Stamos!), created Transplant Connect: "an organization dedicated to expediting and increasing the availability of organs and tissue for transplant."  Transplant Connect helps to make over 12,000 life-saving organ transplants each year, in addition to many needed tissue and eye transplants.  His company also works with states to create online donor registries, because "one single donor can save up to 8 lives and can directly improve the lives of up to 50 people."  Click here to find your state and sign up online to become a donor today.
